At Bellagio’s Jean Philippe Pâtisserie, you’ll find that sweets and spooky characters make a hauntingly perfect combination. While trick-or-treating can never get old, how many of you have seen a life-size skeleton made entirely of chocolate? In the spirit of the holiday, the Jean Philippe Pâtisserie’s pastry team spent more than 70 hours creating it. The chocolate and fondant skeleton stands at 5’5″ (taller than me) and comes complete with glistening gold teeth. For an even eerier touch, the skeleton sits on a chocolate electric chair. That’s sure to shock the sweet tooth.
Fun fact: More than 130 pounds of white and dark chocolate were used to mold this scary and delicious creation. That’s a whole lot of goodness.
Although the skeleton isn’t for sale, you can still take home Halloween-themed miniature chocolates and sugar cookies in fun shapes like black cats, ghosts and witches. These mouth-watering bites taste as good as they look: Staying true to Jean Philippe’s delectable quality, each creation is made with the finest European chocolate.
