Most kids would do anything to avoid getting on the bus. There’s nothing cool about riding  the cheese wagon to school. Unless of course, the bus happens to be a state-of-the-art recording and music video production studio on wheels. That’s what students get to experience when they hop aboard the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus.

A non-profit mobile recording studio and HD production facility, the bus is making a stop in Vegas at the Mirage in conjunction with the 5th Anniversary of The Beatles “LOVE” by Cirque du Soleil.

Visitors in Vegas have the opportunity take a complimentary tour of the bus and see for themselves what it’s like to experience Lennon’s legacy on wheels. The bus will be at the Mirage in the main porte-cochère today through June 11. Tours are complimentary and run from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The concept for the bus was inspired by the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Since 1998, the bus has been traveling across the United States and Canada to provide students of all ages with free access to top-of-the-line music and video production equipment. The bus is also home to three highly-trained engineers. They work with students, helping them learn how to play instruments, write songs and create their own music videos.

Here’s a glimpse inside the tour bus.
