Las Vegas’ chocolate addiction continues with news that a Hershey’s Chocolate World store will open this winter at New York – New York Hotel & Casino.

Located between the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge on the hotel’s east side, the store will enjoy prime placement on the Las Vegas Strip. The store’s façade will include an 18-foot Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, gigantic Hershey’s chocolate bar and an entrance shaped like a Hershey’s Kiss.

Inside, visitors will be able to buy all the Hershey brands, customize chocolate wrappers and even customize their own Hershey Kisses paper plumes. The two-story building will also offer tastings, photo opportunities and other interactive experiences.

“Everything is bigger and brighter on The Las Vegas Strip and we are thrilled to be taking the Hershey’s Chocolate World experience to the next level at New York-New York,” said Amy Hahn, Vice President and General Manager, The Hershey Experience. “Our guests will enter an engaging and interactive space where they can taste new treats, personalize sweet gifts and create keepsake photos.  These experiences are sure to draw candy lovers from what is arguably the most exciting street in the world and inspire some Hershey’s happiness.”

The Hershey’s store is part of a previously announced construction project at New York – New York and the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino to create a new pedestrian-friendly district along the Las Vegas Strip, stretching back toward the rear of the two properties where a new 20,000-seat arena is under development.

The new district includes additional shops, restaurants and bars along with trees and expanded sidewalks designed to create a park environment.

“We are excited to welcome Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience to the New York-New York Hotel & Casino and are delighted it will be part of our new outdoor experience,” said Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president  and COO of New York-New York Hotel & Casino. “Visitors to Las Vegas seek one-of-a-kind experiences and we believe Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience will immediately become a must-see attraction.”

Hershey’s Chocolate World will join other chocolate attractions and shops in Las Vegas including M & M’s World, Ethel M’s, Jean Philippe Patisserie at Bellagio Las Vegas and Aria Hotel & Casino, Vosges Haut Chocolate  and Max Brenner at The Forum Shops at Caesars, the Chocolate Lounge at Sugar Factory and more.
