Hi, Dan! Thank you for writing.

Generally, the Strip is less crowded during the Christmas week if you're comparing it to New Year's Eve or any big convention or event in town. However, since a lot of shows (and some restaurants) are closed for the holiday, the places that are open may seem more crowded than usual. As far as traffic goes, it's typically less busy in the morning.

Just booked Mandalay Bay Dec. 21-25, and have been hearing both sides of the coin that Vegas is either packed to the brim on the week of Xmas, or that it is much less busier than usual the week of Xmas...any input on which is actually true? Thanks, Dan

Hi, Marilyn!
If you would like to enjoy music along with Christmas lights and chocolate, Ethel M's features school choirs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening as well as Dec. 21-23. Also, Springs Preserve will feature carolers Dec. 18-24 from 5-9 p.m. Both are fun for the entire family.

Located on Russell Road just off the US-95 freeway, Central Christian church will offer Christmas services, "Light for Your World" Dec. 23 at 5:30 and 7 p.m. and Dec. 24 at 2:30, 4, 5:30 and 7 p.m.

Wondered whether there are any Christmas concerts of the non-celebrity type in a church or a hall. Just wanted to hear Christmas choral music where the audience might be invited to sing along. Thanks.
